Real Clever Science

My name is Ari Einbinder. This is the journal of my travels into the realm of science and science education.
I've worked at science museums in NY (NYSCI and AMNH) and across Europe. Currently I'm studying "museology" (aka museum studies) at UW in Seattle, WA. I'm also one of Tumblr's Science Section editors.

I discuss anything that fascinates me, but popular topics include evolution, transhumanism (e.g BCI), futurism, psychology, quantum computing, climate change, sustainability, genetic engineering and occasionally politics - to name a few.

Enjoy!

Think for yourself. It makes for good science, good humans, and a more interesting society.
Also, kinda blows my mind to think of how many visionaries and potential world changers endured and/or succumbed to narrow-minded criticism from society. Scientists, artists, intellectuals of all sorts, but also those who saw things differently for other aspects of life, like rights for blacks, women, and LGBTQ, or even the first person who thought, “hey, y’know what, I’m gonna drink cow’s milk!” It really makes you marvel and appreciate the struggle and determination of those brave individuals - and is also deeply saddening to think how many great ideas and people were lost.
To hell with that. Think differently!
(Oh, and remember, I said think for yourself. Simply being ignorant and opinionated is not quite the same thing.)
