One really solid environmental blog is ClimateAdaptation; though I don’t always agree with Michael, who runs it, I always learn a lot.
I don’t really know of any solid chemistry blogs, but maybe some RCS readers will make some suggestions. *cough*
And in general, I really recommend all the editors and contributors to Tumblr’s science section, and just following the section. It’s a pretty solid collection of awesomeness and the latest happenings in the science world - and I tend to feature a lot of environmental and other stuff on it which I may not have on my blog, either bc I don’t have much to add or it’d take too long to write out what I have to say! (I’m also a fan of the Tech section, though it’s a mix of science, musings, and business.)
That should be a pretty good start for getting your science-fix =]
