Congratulations guys. With your help, the Wardenclyffe Tower will be bought and turned into a Nikola Tesla museum. We still have plenty of time to contribute to the building of the museum itself. Let’s keep it up!

In case you guys didn’t hear the good news… the Oatmeal and its awesome fans successfully raised enough money to buy Tesla’s old lab and turn it into a science center. {I’m quite happy for them. Also, I’d love to work there!}
Also, for those museologists, this is an interesting model for how museums can engage communities in fundraising. Perhaps not always for the museum itself, but it’d be interesting to see a model like this used for choosing and financing a new exhibition, for instance.
